More goodbyes…

We seem to be in the time of goodbyes these weeks and I don’t enjoy goodbyes!

Last Tuesday, April 13, Marlene left for Costa Rica to be at home for a month over the time of her sister’s wedding. That left 12 children to divide amongst the others, so they do have their quivers full!

Then, on Friday, Joselin and Marbella left to go live with their adoptive mother. They’ve been going with her for visits and getting to know her so it was easier for them to go.

We were blessed this last weekend with visitors from Texas. Phil’s parents, Dan & Rhoda Miller were here visiting them so they shared time with us here on Sunday. They are taking the first trailer load of pottery to Texas from the “factory” here. It was exciting to see the load of product go out the lane and know that it’s a reality.

On Sunday morning a little before church we had a surprise when in came Leland Ulrich and his nephew Weston. They had been in CA so blessed us with a visit as well! We really enjoy the fellowship and encouragement of visitors!

Last evening we went to Phil’s to enjoy fellowship with them and Dan’s and the strawberry cheesecake she made. It was refreshing for us!

God bless you all with a wonderful week!

Goodbyes
It's better to lose than never to love,
God knows our pain as He sees from above.
Heart ties will hurt when severed apart,
But don't let the anguish callous your heart.
Don't let the "goodbyes" kill the "hello",
Open your heart and let the love flow.
We cannot know love without knowing loss,
That is the reason Christ went to the cross.
His love and His pain are the reason we live;
That's why we can love, can heal, and forgive.
Oh, it's hard to believe that the pain will heal,
But our Saviour still knows every heart throb we feel.
Though it's true that pain is the price of love,
Our tears will be dried when we all meet above...
