Thanks to all of you who lifted us up in prayer this last week! We really can tell when you pray! I'm sure you're all wondering what has happened with our situation here with the authorities... I kept waiting to post until we have more answers, but it appears we may not have answers right away. The board has tried different ways to contact the officials and haven't been able to talk with them yet! Obviously, the time is not yet right for whatever details God has in His plan for this story that we are in. He asks us to trust Him, whether we see His plan or not. I told Lorne tonight it seems God has sent His angels to shut the lion's mouth. We are confident that when we do face the officials it will be in God's time and in His strength. Please continue to pray for the protection of the children here.

This has been a week of changes for us! We came thru last weekend much encouraged and strengthened even in the midst of heaviness of heart. First was the adjustment of having the children at home and trying to keep them busy in the in-between here of no school. It was an adjustment for our family to face as there were new schedules and we were still having school. Then on Tues. we said farewell to Renita Friesen as she returned to Texas. She was our Spanish/English go-between and helped us so much when we got stuck with the language. We miss you Renita!

Wed. was catch-up day around our house and on Thurs., with great excitement, we got the call that Dad & Mom Hershberger were in town and ready for us to meet them! They brought a load of our things that had not fit into our van. And also, so many things from family & friends that just bless us over and over! We are so loved and it means so much to know that you care!! We are really enjoying having Dad's here and having them be a part of our lives here!

The first part of the week we had rain, rain, rain! Rain outside and rain inside! The walls were weeping along with the skies. But we're back to our warm days and sunshine! And appreciating more our warm, dry house.

Friday was a bittersweet day. In the afternoon we received a call that little Derrick would be leaving that evening yet. We knew he would be going at some point but yet so hard to watch him go! The happy news of the day was that in the night Milena came back after being gone for 2 months. We are excited about having our staff become complete again. Only one Mom still roaming! We also have another helper that came Fri. night. Regina Miller from Costa Rica came to help wherever needed so it appears our load will be lightening. God has been so good to us, giving strength for every day!

Only one week and yet so many things I want to share with you! Thanks again for your support!
