Life in the last 2 weeks hasn't slowed down any!

We enjoyed getting to meet Gid's parents, Enoch & Leanna Eichorn, 2 siblings and grandparents, Jonas & Katie when they were here last week.

On Wednesday we had an appointment with our adoption lawyer and now have our list of requirements needed to move ahead with adopting Tania. After gathering all of the needed documents and they review the case then we find out whether they approve the adoption or not. So we continue to move forward and pray for God to continue to show us His will.

That same day we were planning on getting 4 new boys at the home. 8 yr old twins, a 6 and a 5 yr old. We thought the 2 youngest would go with a Mom but they all ended up being very nearly the same size and activity level, so Gid got more than double the boys all in one day!! The twins have been like adding an in-house comedy show!! Then, while we were in Tijuana DIF asked us if we'd take some girls they have there. We still had room, so we said we would take them. They are 2 sisters who were abandoned. They are 6 and 3 yr.s old. The oldest one is such a protector of her sister. These brought our amount up to 39 children so it seems like the house is full.

As for our immigration situation, we had a report from our lawyer saying the case has been resolved. God has worked so mightily, way above what we could have even imagined! Our fines could have been quite frightful yet they are only a fraction of what was possible. And the other things are also being worked out amazingly well. God ways are so much higher than our ways!!

We had told our children that if they reach a certain goal with their schoolwork we would take a special weekend to San Diego. They did a good job of completing the requirements so we decided to do it this weekend since it's Gina's 18th birthday. We came to San Diego on Saturday and have had a wonderful time relaxing, pool time, sitting by the water, watching awesome sunset over the ocean and just being a family here for a few days. We plan to return to the home on Mon. evening.

Happy 18th Birthday, Regina!!
Flowers & chocolate from Sarah waiting at our motel when we got there...

The same God that created the awesome scenery and the power of the ocean is the God that's carrying us through every situation we face!
