A lot of you are wondering how our plans are coming. God has been so good to us! One day at a time but four weeks in the mind, how do you juggle that? Only by grace!
The garage sale is past & we look forward to a Yoder family reunion this next weekend here in Indiana. Also, evenings with friends during each week. We need those encouraging times and memories! After the reunion we plan to do more earnest packing & storing as we'll then have 3 weeks left til we plan to leave.
Our projects here in the house should be all finished this week, which is so great! Lorne is spending more days at home to finish things.
We are still praying for renters for our place. We feel sure that God has a plan, we just keep working to find the details. :) We're also trying to sell the van and plan to buy a large van to travel.
We continue to work on our language lessons and I just keep praying the Lord will increase our understanding! It's much easier to do a day of physical labor than to wrestle with those conjugations, tenses, and forms of tenses!
Thanks for your prayers!

The call to Mexico
Ever since our 1st visit to Mexico, July 2007, our hearts have been very attached to the work there at the home! Another visit in Oct. '07 then again in April '08 had a way of drawing us even more! We've been committing our plans to God and His timing, knowing that it's only His will that we so desire! We pursued adopting our precious little Grace from the home but God allowed that door to close. Our hearts hurt so badly with that disappointment, but we knew that to be only in God's will is what we wanted. And now God has opened another door and we feel such a peace following His leading to move to Mexico and be so blessed to be a part of the family there!
We do need the prayers of our family and friends as we sort & pack, pack & sort, getting ready to go. So many details (physical & emotional) are involved in tearing up your life of 19 years in one community and taking it away. But, it is exciting to see God bring those details together and see the confirmations of His leading! At this time our plans are to leave on Sept. 26, Lord willing, and driving west & more west!
